NiP has participated in over 200 tournaments, receiving direct invitations to nearly 90 of them. Their journey began with a first-place finish at DreamHack Valencia 2012, and they've since competed in a wide range of events, from smaller regional tournaments to prestigious international championships. Their greatest achievement remains a first-place finish at StarLadder & i-League Season 2, earning them a significant prize purse. While they've recently seen some less successful results, such as several recent tournaments without any prize placing, their extensive history and consistent participation solidify their place as a veteran team.
NiP's roster has seen significant changes over the years, with a total of around 90 players having represented the organization. The team's initial lineup featured legendary players like f0rest and GeT_RiGhT, establishing a foundation of success. Currently, the team fields an international roster, including players from Denmark, Portugal, and Ukraine. This diverse lineup reflects the ever-evolving nature of the professional CS2 scene and NiP's commitment to adapting and competing at the highest level. Notable former players include dev1ce, XANTARES, and others who have achieved great success elsewhere.
In terms of rankings, NiP consistently places in the top 50 globally and regionally (Europe). While their global ranking has fluctuated between the top 15 and the low 30s in recent months, their best-ever global ranking was 3rd place. Their regional ranking has also seen ups and downs, reaching the top spot in the past but currently sitting outside the top 20. This highlights the competitiveness of the European CS2 scene and the ongoing challenges NiP faces in maintaining its top-tier status.
