CarJua's Dota 2 journey began in January 2020 with Komdrak Gaming in the Movistar LPG Promocional Season 2. Although this initial tournament didn't yield any prize money, it marked the start of his competitive career. His early teammates included players like NoName♥, Sadly, PIPI, and Destroyer. His next tournament, Movistar LPG Promocional Season 3 with Sandblood, proved far more successful, resulting in a first-place victory and an invitation to the prestigious Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 4. This early success set the stage for his subsequent career progression.
Throughout his career, CarJua has represented approximately 34 different teams, gaining experience across a wide range of competitive levels in the Peruvian Dota 2 scene and beyond. Some notable teams include INF.UESPORTS (a team that reached a top 56 global ranking at one point), INFY, where he achieved his most significant prize money, and more recently, Energy Esports, with whom he won the LATAMAX Cup Royal Season 1. This extensive experience playing with various teammates has undoubtedly contributed to his skill development and adaptability.
In his four years competing, CarJua has participated in around 50 tournaments. Besides the significant 8th-place finish at the OGA DPC South America Regional League Season 2, he's recently competed in events such as The International 2024, DreamLeague Season 23, and the LATAMAX Cup Royal Season 1 (where he secured a first place and a significant prize). His consistent participation in high-profile and regional tournaments showcases his commitment and ambition within the competitive Dota 2 landscape.
