K1's professional journey began in March 2017 with Team Luccini, participating in The Kiev Major (although they didn't place). His early career saw him compete in various smaller tournaments, including the KOD League Season 5 with Snakewingz. These early experiences provided valuable learning opportunities as he honed his skills and gained experience against a range of opponents. While these initial tournaments didn't yield significant wins, they were crucial in shaping his development as a professional player and setting the foundation for his future success.
Over his career, K1 has represented approximately 20 different teams, showcasing his adaptability and willingness to collaborate with various lineups. Notably, his time with INF (INF.UESPORTS) and beastcoast (bc) were particularly impactful, contributing significantly to his prize money earnings and overall experience. His stint with INF resulted in his best finish at The International, while his time at beastcoast saw him steadily rise through the ranks of professional play. More recently, he has also played for teams like nouns and Heroic, further expanding his international experience.
K1 has participated in around 80 tournaments throughout his career, achieving multiple top-three finishes. While his recent tournaments haven't resulted in podium finishes, the experience gained from competing at a high level continues to enhance his skills and strategic understanding.
