Although his first team didn't secure a placing, this marked the start of his impressive career. He then competed in the ProDotA Cup SEA #11 with Genesis, further solidifying his presence in the Southeast Asian Dota 2 scene. These early experiences, though without significant prize winnings, laid the groundwork for his future success and established his competitive spirit.
Throughout his career, Mercury has been a part of numerous teams, both in his native Malaysia and internationally in China and the Philippines. He's had notable stints with teams like WG.U, Flash, Summit Gaming, and Polaris Esports, accumulating significant match experience and prize money along the way. His extensive experience across different regions demonstrates his adaptability to varying playstyles and team dynamics. His time with these teams showcases his willingness to embrace challenges and contribute his skills to diverse competitive environments.
Mercury has participated in approximately 100 tournaments, achieving multiple top-three finishes. While he hasn't reached the top of the podium in every tournament, his consistent performance and participation in high-profile events like The International 2024 (TI 2024) and DreamLeague Season 23 highlight his dedication and competitiveness. His best result is an 8th-place finish at the Perfect World DPC China 2023 Tour 2, demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest levels of professional Dota 2.
