Mushroom's professional career began in March 2020 with Mayo Chicken (MC) at the ESL Premiership 2020 Spring. This tournament marked his first foray into competitive Dota 2, though his team did not place. He then joined nerdRage, where he played a few matches and contributed to the team's success. His early career saw him learn and develop his skills against strong competition, which laid a foundation for his future performances.

Throughout his career, Mushroom has represented three teams: MC, nerdRage, and his current team, LCS.
