Rayy's professional journey began in April 2017 with Hawk Gaming, participating in The Manila Masters, a tournament with a massive $250,000 prize pool. While his team didn't place, this marked his entry into the competitive Dota 2 world, alongside players like CLe and Mercury. His early career saw him play for several teams, often with mixed success in smaller tournaments and leagues, gaining valuable experience and honing his skills as a support player. This foundational period helped shape his understanding of the game and his role within a team.
Throughout his career, Rayy has represented approximately 15 different teams across various regions, including Malaysia, China, and the USA. His time with teams like LGD International, Keen Gaming.Luminous, and Eternity showcases his willingness to adapt to different playing styles and team dynamics. Notably, his stint with Eternity proved particularly successful, culminating in his victory at ACWC 2022. This experience playing across different regions has undoubtedly broadened his perspective and understanding of the global Dota 2 landscape.
Rayy has participated in around 50 tournaments throughout his career, achieving several podium finishes, including one first place, two second places, and one third place finish. His recent tournaments include participation in the GGWP Dragon Series and the Star Series, demonstrating his continued involvement and competitiveness in the scene.
