Ryu's professional journey began in October 2019 with Majestic Young (Majestic.Y), participating in the MDL Chengdu Major Open Qualifier. Although this initial tournament didn't yield any prize money, it marked the start of his competitive career. His early teams were primarily Peruvian, including Team Dariam (T.Dariam) where he participated in a smaller tournament with a $300 prize pool. These early experiences laid the foundation for his future growth and provided valuable exposure to the competitive scene. His early career featured participation in various smaller tournaments with limited success.
Throughout his career, Ryu has represented approximately 20 different teams, showcasing his adaptability and willingness to collaborate within diverse team environments. While many of these teams were based in Peru, he also briefly played for x5Gaming in Brazil. His time with teams like INFY (Infinity Esports), Silk, and FSN (FUSION) proved particularly fruitful, contributing significantly to his overall career earnings and competitive experience. His current team, LowProfile, represents his most recent endeavor in the competitive Dota 2 landscape.
Ryu has competed in around 50 tournaments throughout his career, accumulating several podium finishes, including two first-place, two second-place, and five third-place finishes. His recent tournament appearances include ESL One Raleigh 2025, FISSURE Universe Episode 4, EPL World Series America Season 15 (where he secured a third-place finish with EBs and $500 in prize money), PGL Wallachia Season 3, and DreamLeague Season 25. While he hasn't consistently placed in the top spots in major international events, his persistent participation demonstrates his dedication to the competitive Dota 2 scene.
