Sayuw's professional Dota 2 journey began in June 2017 with Team Flow, participating in the The International 2017 Open Qualifier. While this initial foray didn't result in a prize placement, it marked the start of his competitive career. His early teams included Alchemy and several other Russian-based squads. These early experiences provided him with valuable experience and laid the foundation for his future success.
Over his career, Sayuw has represented approximately 16 teams, including prominent organizations like Virtus.pro (VP), Team Empire, and Gambit Esports. His time with VP was particularly successful, contributing significantly to their performance and prize winnings. He's also played for HellRaisers and several smaller teams, gaining diverse experience and building his reputation within the competitive Dota 2 scene. His current team, 9Pandas, marks another chapter in his evolving career.
Sayuw has participated in around 100 tournaments throughout his career, achieving notable success with several top-three finishes. While he hasn't won The International, his consistent participation in high-level events, including The International 2024, demonstrates his commitment to competing at the highest level of professional Dota 2. His recent tournaments include DreamLeague Season 24, RES Regional Series EU #4, and Riyadh Masters 2024, showcasing his continued involvement in the competitive landscape.
