Sompi's competitive journey began in February 2019 with MF (MYSTIC FORCE), participating in the Epulze Monthly Cup. Although his team secured only third place, this marked the start of his professional Dota 2 career. His early matches provided valuable experience, playing alongside players like SamSam (Aza Baitasov), pVN, Lovkiy (Mikhail Masalov), and kappulya (Matvei Kolchanov). This initial experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors in the competitive scene, allowing him to hone his skills and understanding of professional play.
Throughout his career, Sompi has represented a diverse range of teams, including SMARACIS, T2W, SYNA, Ance, Lapki, Chipsbl, DoubleT, and SaoE. This experience has exposed him to different playstyles and team dynamics, contributing to his overall growth as a player. He has played a total of roughly 20 matches across these teams, gaining valuable experience and demonstrating his adaptability within various team environments across Russia, Belarus, Austria, and Kazakhstan.
His tournament participation spans approximately nine events, with most resulting in non-placing finishes. However, his two third-place finishes highlight moments of success. He has competed in notable tournaments such as the ESL One Malaysia 2022 and Winline Insight Season 2, gaining experience against a wide range of opponents and further refining his skills as a mid-lane player. While he hasn't yet reached the highest echelons of professional Dota 2, Sompi continues to participate actively in the competitive scene.
