TheBloodySky's competitive journey began in July 2019 with German Hope (GermanH) at The International 2019 Open Qualifiers. This early experience alongside players like Nova, Lexam, Bigterrazzo, and Kamek, though unsuccessful in securing a spot at TI, laid the foundation for his future career. His second tournament, ACL Masters #1 with CoronaBoys in 2020, resulted in a second-place finish and his first taste of prize money.
Throughout his career, TheBloodySky has represented approximately 18 teams across various regions, including Europe, North America, and the CIS. His roster has included stints with notable teams like 5UpJungz, iVy, and A-Team, showcasing his adaptability and experience in diverse competitive environments. While some of his team affiliations resulted in minimal or no prize winnings, these experiences contributed to his growth and skill development.
His tournament history reflects a consistent presence in the competitive scene, participating in various DPC events and leagues. Recent tournaments include the PGL DPC Western Europe 2023 Tours and the European Pro League. While many of these ventures haven't resulted in top placements, his participation highlights his dedication and persistence in the challenging world of professional Dota 2. He has achieved several podium finishes, including one first place, three second places and one third place.
