TheSpeedy's competitive Dota 2 journey began in May 2020 with Cyberium in the Global Infection Cup, a tournament with a $10,000 prize pool. His debut match was alongside players like Vicoros, Otaker, Dodren, and Gatciy. Although Cyberium didn't secure a prize placement, it marked the start of his career. His early competitive experience also includes participation in AOC Play Dota2 with the team Lapki v tapki. These early experiences, though without significant prize winnings, laid the foundation for his future in competitive Dota 2.
Throughout his career, TheSpeedy has played for approximately 13 different teams, showcasing his adaptability and experience across various team dynamics. Some notable teams include YNG, where he played a significant number of matches and earned the majority of his prize money, and B8. His roster experience spans across Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. While many of these team affiliations were short-lived, they provided valuable gameplay experience and exposure to different competitive environments.
TheSpeedy has participated in around 17 tournaments over the course of his career. His recent tournament appearances include CCT Series 8, European Pro League Season 22, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, and PGL Wallachia Season 2, among others. While he hasn't secured many high placements recently, his persistent participation demonstrates his dedication to improving and competing at a high level within the Dota 2 community.
