BP's tournament history is a mix of participation and near misses. Their earliest appearance was at the ONOG Major Circuit Austin 2017, followed by numerous other events, including recent ones like ESL One Raleigh 2025, FISSURE Universe Episode 4, and PGL Wallachia Season 2, none of which resulted in significant placements. They consistently competed in various regional tournaments across North America, often falling short of the top spots. The team's participation demonstrates a persistent dedication to competitive Dota 2, even without consistent high-placing finishes.
Throughout its existence, Blue Pikachu has seen a revolving door of players, with over 50 individuals representing the team at various points. The initial roster featured Alren, Whiskey, Vol, Scourge McDuck, and Save. Notable players who have since joined include Yamsun, Mr. Lens, Adzantick, 酸梅汤, SexyBuns, Lil Nick, SkywardIV, braebrae, iSpy, and R77V1C377. Currently, the team lacks an official active roster.
In terms of ranking, Blue Pikachu has never placed in the global Dota 2 rankings. Regionally (North America), their highest ranking was 20th place, achieved in 2021. They have fluctuated between 22nd and 25th place throughout 2021, before eventually dropping out of the rankings completely by mid-2021. Their last recorded ranking was 24th place on April 14th, 2021.
