FTD's tournament history shows a mix of success and participation. They received direct invitations to around six major tournaments, bypassing qualifiers. Their appearances included prestigious events like ESL One New York 2015 (their first tournament) and several seasons of the Perfect World Dota 2 League. While they achieved notable results in some tournaments, many others saw them fall short of the prize bracket, indicating a team with fluctuating performance. Their participation in such a large number of tournaments demonstrates a consistent presence in the Chinese Dota 2 scene.
Over the years, FTD featured a large roster of players, with over 80 individuals passing through the team. Some notable names include XinQ, JT-, Ulu, Redpanda, Czy, and Beyond. The team's initial lineup consisted of XTT, touteng, guoguo, Yin, and strawberry. Currently, FTD does not have an active official roster, signifying a period of inactivity or disbandment. The numerous players who've donned the FTD jersey highlight the team's dynamic nature and the challenges of maintaining a consistently competitive roster.
In terms of ranking, FTD never achieved a global ranking. However, within the Chinese regional rankings, they fluctuated between 27th and 45th place from late 2020 to mid-2021. Their best regional ranking was 27th, achieved in December 2020, shortly after their strong performance at PWL S2. As of now, FTD is no longer present in the regional rankings.
