KOBOLDS' tournament history is diverse, ranging from smaller regional events to larger international competitions. They received direct invitations to roughly half of the tournaments they participated in. Their first tournament was the MESA Pro Series Finals 2021, where they secured third place. More recently, they competed in prestigious events like The International 2024, although they didn't secure any placement in recent tournaments like Riyadh Masters 2024, PGL Wallachia Season 1, ESL One Birmingham 2024, and FISSURE & ESB Elite League 2024 Season 1. Their most significant success remains their victory at GamersDeck Spring League Season 1 Martius.
Throughout their history, KOBOLDS has seen a roster of approximately 36 players. Notable names include Panda, Osocle, sentoru, Yujiro, licht, NetikAN, Ryofly, Aagy, Cobra, and Tamybaby. The team currently does not have an officially announced active roster. Their initial lineup consisted of Tsukimoto, mudi, FortuneSOul, skadi, and Мүди. The constant fluctuation in players reflects the challenges faced by many teams in the competitive Dota 2 scene.
In terms of ranking, KOBOLDS has primarily competed in the SEA & Oceania regional rankings. They have fluctuated between positions 15 and 44, reaching a peak of 15th place in May 2022 and a low of 44th in October 2021. Their most recent regional ranking was 33rd on July 3rd, 2024, however, they are currently not listed in the rankings. The team has yet to make an impact on the global Dota 2 rankings.
