Their tournament history included a mix of successes and less successful outings. They received a direct invite to at least one tournament, avoiding the qualifiers. Notable tournaments included the SteelSeries Euro Cup #2 (their victory), and several others such as the Dota 2 Battle (2019), The Chongqing Major Open Qualifiers (2018), and StarLadder StarSeries Season 8 (2014), where they didn't place. Their first tournament was the EIZO Cup Cup #8 in 2013. Poseidon's participation in these events provided valuable experience and exposure within the competitive Dota 2 landscape.
Throughout its history, Poseidon boasted a roster of approximately 23 players. Some of the notable names include yol, UnderShock, sQreen, Artes, Flow, sanha, Bowbowbow, Женя, Sonic, and Radek. The team's initial lineup consisted of IllidanSTR, JotM, tmw, KSi, and Windx. Currently, Poseidon does not have an active official roster.
Despite their competitive history and participation in various tournaments, Poseidon never secured a position in the official Dota 2 team rankings (either global or regional). Their impact was primarily felt within the CIS regional scene during their active years.
