T1's tournament history is rich with both consistent success and dramatic moments. They've consistently performed well in the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea), securing numerous championships and top placements. Their international performances have been equally impressive, with multiple appearances in the World Championship (Worlds) and other prestigious events such as the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). While their 2016 World Championship victory remains their most significant achievement, the team has consistently secured top 3 finishes in numerous tournaments, accumulating a substantial number of first, second, and third-place finishes. Recently, T1 won the World Championship 2024 and achieved a third-place finish at the LCK 2024 Summer.
The roster of T1 has seen many legendary players grace its ranks over the years. From its inception with players like Faker, Bang, and Wolf, the team has cultivated a culture of excellence, attracting top talent from across Korea. The current roster features the iconic Faker, alongside a strong supporting cast of players like Oner, Keria, Gumayushi, and Doran, and Smash. They are complemented by a long list of former players, including prominent names such as Zeus, Scout, Peanut, and Canna, all of whom contributed to the team's widespread success. In total, approximately 45 players have represented T1 throughout its history.
T1's performance in global and regional rankings reflects its consistent dominance. The team has consistently held top positions in the world rankings, reaching #1 multiple times and maintaining a position within the top 2 for much of 2024 and 2025. While their regional (SEA & Oceania) ranking has fluctuated more, T1 has also reached the top spot in that ranking in the past. Currently, T1 is ranked 2nd globally out of 31 teams, however they are not currently ranked in the SEA & Oceania regional ranking.
