Throughout their short lifespan, DR.Summer competed in around 6 tournaments. Notable participations include the Alienware Monthly Melee - China (1st place), APAC Premier (13th place), and several others like the Overwatch Premier Series 2017 Spring and Best Hero NGA Cup, where they didn't place. Their first tournament was the China-Korea Megagame in September 2016. While they secured a significant victory at the Alienware Monthly Melee, their participation in other events yielded mixed results, highlighting the competitive landscape of the Overwatch scene at the time.
The team's roster saw some fluctuation during its existence. While the initial lineup consisted of players like Yzzzzzz, Lawliet, Breeze, shuaishuai, Nightmoon, and Word, a total of approximately 14 players contributed to the team throughout its history. Some notable players included YiWai, Allcan, Bingo, BadBoy, Moonlight, SHLMY, UFO, and Fairyk. Currently, DR.Summer does not have an officially announced active roster.
Despite their tournament participations and prize winnings, DR.Summer did not achieve any significant ranking in either the global or regional Overwatch leaderboards during their active period. Their impact on the professional scene was therefore limited, but they still left a small mark in the history of Chinese Overwatch.
