MSC's tournament history includes participation in five events, one of which was a direct invitation. Their early appearances included the China-Korea Megagame in 2016 and the Best Hero NGA Cup in 2017, where they didn't place. Later, they competed in Overwatch Contenders 2018 Season 1 (11th place, ~$8,000 prize money) and Season 2 (5th place, ~$14,000 prize money), showcasing improvement throughout their competitive journey. Their participation in these Contenders seasons marked their most prominent appearances in larger-scale Overwatch competitions.
Throughout their history, MSC boasted a roster of approximately 22 players. While no official current roster exists, some notable names include Jin, Xiaos, OvO, 30K, MatAta, Spoil, Kuroneko.cn, Mia.cn, Fengyan, and Gudan. Their initial lineup consisted of MSCJin, Neko, Rocky, Sarl, Zodiac, and MSC6. The team's dynamic roster reflects the competitive landscape of the time, with players coming and going as the Overwatch scene evolved.
Despite their participation in various tournaments and their notable performance in Overwatch Contenders Season 2, MSC never achieved a significant ranking in any official global or regional Overwatch leaderboards. This absence from the top rankings doesn't diminish their contribution to the competitive Chinese Overwatch scene, however, as they consistently participated and provided opportunities for many players to gain experience.
